Hi! I’m Kay, also known as Karin out of the world wide webz. You’re currently staring at my domain mithredat.com, which is featuring a blog since 2009. At first it was a personal weblog, but was changed to a music weblog in mid-2011 seeing as I’m a music junkie and I felt like the blog needed a better theme. The old posts, as well as newer ones about trips I’ve made, are now filed under Personal Blog.

Mithredat who?
The name ‘Mithredat’ comes from Persia: the treasurer of King Cyrus was called this way. Silly me forgot to attach the last H but I like it better that way.
Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of The Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods; Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah” (Ezra I:7-8)

I’m sorry, but it’s not a real van Bronckhorst t-shirt. It’s an orange t-shirt without text, and the letters are done with PhotoShop. Perhaps you can find one on ebay…?
